Researching the work of other brands in your industry is invaluable. Find out what’s trending and learn what the competition is blogging about. Reviewing successful posts from others and looking into less popular content will help you determine which topics are worth blogging about. Remember; successful content contains valuable information, includes images and has been shared many times over on various social networks.

2. It’s all about your customers.

Readers are coming to your blog to find value in your content. Save your readers some time and cut out the obvious over-selling of your business. You’ve created your blog for the customer, so make sure your blog benefits them. A customer’s problem is your time to shine and help lead the way. Engage them with new tips or ideas that relate to them but also your brand. Whether it’s giving pointers about decorating the perfect Thanksgiving table or giving step by step examples of creating the perfect blog post, you’re there to save the day.

3. Never lose that personality.

When creating your blog, remember to add life by letting your brand’s personality shine through your writing, you have an awesome brand and awesome customers so don’t be shy. Intertwining personality and credibility creates a more personable relationship with your reader. A relationship based on credibility and entertaining content will keep people coming back for more.
